The Tinder Swindler Simon Leviev Says He Is a Bitcoin OG

Simon Leviev (also known as The Tinder Swindler) stated in his interview to have got wealth after purchasing Bitcoin (BTC) in 2011 without defrauding anyone. Substantial fame was acquired on the behalf of Simon Leviev following the release of the documentary The Tinder Swindler on the behalf of Netflix just a few weeks back. As per the media, the person made money by tricking women that he met online.

Nevertheless, a recent interview thereof presents him claiming to have got funds via a relatively honest means by Bitcoin investment. Simon Leviev declined to discuss his life after Netflix released the above-mentioned documentary. In the earliest interview, his attitude was considerably aggressive as he declared that the women leveling accusations of fraud against him were distorting the facts. He refuted being a well-known businessman’s son and additionally refuted having pretended to be so to the Tinder matches thereof. Notwithstanding the other claims that he earned a wealth of nearly $10M out of his malicious operations, he elaborated that the success thereof is credited to Bitcoin.

In his words, he occupies the position of a legitimate businessman and there is no need for him to tell the present value of the assets that he purchased in 2011. During 2011, the price of Bitcoin was $30 at its highest point and $1 was the lowest value of the primary token. In line with the argument of Leviev, the return over the respective investment would be from 118233% to 3549900% at present. $282 would have had been required for him to be invested to earn a yield of $10M.

The swindler of the documentary

As per the documentary, the dating application was utilized by Leviev to have interaction and date with the girls who had mentioned to be middle-aged in their profiles but having an independent status financially, along with an inclination toward being easily manipulated through his tactics.

He would attract his partners by dating in luxurious places, bragging about his wealth (which he supposedly had due to his father’s diamond business). Latterly, he would pretend to have had been threatened and persecuted, thus could not utilize the credit cards. In this way, he would borrow money from them without returning it or contacting them again.
