The crypto exchange DDEX gives a bug bounty of $10000 to the samczsun security researcher for fixing the vulnerability.
The exchange was thankful to the samczsun for this find and was really impressed by the researcher’s work. DDEX rewarded the security researcher with a bug bounty of $10k.
DDEX exchange is the first decentralized crypto exchange which was built on the basis of Hydro Protocol Technology. The exchange offers real-time and instant orders. The main purpose of this hybrid decentralized exchange is that it provides liquidity for ETH and ERC-20 tokens.
Today on 1st Oct, the crypto exchange DDEX has made this announcement in which the exchange states that the security researcher samczsun informed us on the 18th Sep at 12:54 am about the potential vulnerability found on the contract that was used for beta test margin and lending functionality.
The hybrid exchange says that on 18th Sep at 5:50 am this particular fix was checked and then verified deeply and no loss of funds was found.

The potential vulnerability was only found in a contract used for the beta testing purpose so there was only the risk of 122 ETH worth of ETH and DAI.
The information was not released earlier because the exchange says that we were informed that such kinds of vulnerabilities were also found in the projects that were launched publically. And there was the risk of a large amount. So this stopped us from revealing such type of information.
The samczsun researcher, in a contract call, used 25000 ETH in order to change the DAI price which eventually resulted in a profit of almost 70 ETH.
