Shiba Inu Developers Hint At Shibarium Beta Launch

According to a Twitter influencer, Shiba Inu developers are nearing the end of the Shibarium updates. The Shiba Inu supporter shared a Discord text from the network’s developer, Trophias, who revealed the remaining steps before the much-anticipated beta launch.

Awaiting the Launch

Trophias hinted in the Discord message that all that remains before the beta release is for the developers to publish the Shibarium whitepaper. Furthermore, the developer stated in the shared statement that the first steps had been website expansion, document creation, and beta launch.

Furthermore, in a subsequent Twitter post, the SHIB influencer confirmed Trophias’ remark by sharing another statement from Shytoshi Kusama. Before the project’s launch, Kusama said he was about to complete the upgrade’s finishing touches, followed by planned changes and document releases.

Meanwhile, according to Kusama’s statement, the team is about to move forward with the final details of the upgrade before reaching out to others outside the SHIB Army. It’s worth noting that the developers have been teasing the Shiba Inu community about the Layer-2 framework for over a year.

The initiative was supposed to go live in September. However, the team revealed that technical faults caused the planned launch to be delayed. The group has yet to announce an exact release date, which has enraged the Shiba Inu community.

Stepping Up

According to all apparent signs, the Shiba Inu developers are taking the first step towards the launch of the Shibarium beta phase with the completion of the network’s website update last Sunday.

According to the latest report, Kusama mentioned that the project is unlikely to be launched anytime soon and not during the holiday season. He urges the Shiba Inu community to take advantage of this time with their families, assuring them that the team will announce the beta launch soon.

Kusama’s explanation indicates that the Shibarium launch will likely occur in early 2023, even though the project team has repeatedly stated that the launch is imminent. According to industry experts, the price of SHIB will skyrocket once the Shibarium upgrade is released.

The upgrade will allow the canine crypto network to compete with other Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solutions, such as Polygon. The Shibarium update is also expected to include low-cost and high-throughput features to help decentralized applications (dApps).

Hence, dApps can access any of Shiba Inu’s projects once the launch is complete. Furthermore, Shibarium will also provide developers with a channel to further improve the SHIB environment, which will speed up SHIB burn rates.

The digital meme currency has seen a significant rise in value as it competes with its closest rival, Dogecoin. While the actions of Elon Musk influence the DOGE price, the SHIB derives its value from its utility without any influencer like the former.
