A Private Researcher Under the Impression that he has Discovered Satoshi Nakamoto’s Twitter Profile
Bitcoin is the most hyped and relatively essential cryptocurrency there is and its creator going by the name Satoshi Nakamoto is but an anonymous person whose true identity is carefully hidden from the world. The name triangulates to Japan, and that is all people know about Bitcoin’s creator. But recently, a private researcher going by the name Varun did publish an analysis of his own where he provides unconfirmed data relating to the discovery of Satoshi’s Twitter account, or so does the researcher believes.
What did his Research Points Towards?
The analysis where the researcher so pompously subjects to the discovery of a Twitter account that might belong to Satoshi is based on the active period of the account closely running parallel to the Bitcoin’s release. The account name on Twitter, Goldlover was fairly active when Bitcoin hit the market and was in its early days of glory; tweets were sent and received on this account, but when Satoshi Nakamoto left the crypto community for good, only did the account went inactive and unresponsive.
However, the account was created back in the year 2008 and did use Gold as a reference in a fair number of posts. According to Varun, the word Gold might be supporting the term Bit gold which was a digitally decentralized finance system whose ideas was proposed by Nick Szabo; not only this but the earliest model of this system closely resembles the now present working of the decentralized network that provides the basis for Bitcoin’s very presence today.
Further Findings by the Esteemed Researcher
Further findings prevailed by Varun indicate that around the end of the year 2008, many tweets were sent pertaining to the digital gold currency and the importance of decentralized networks. Mainly these tweets revolved around the importance of such digital systems and the fact that people were losing their homes, and other than that, the criticizing of fiat currency and the financial reserves were the main highlights.
No other Twitter account or any other person on social media was talking about cryptocurrency or, more specifically, Bitcoin other than this one. Varun believes that this account belongs to Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin, and the very person who has put up such esteemed crypto shows that we are a part of today.
