Apple Co-Founder Says Bitcoin Is A Mathematical Miracle
The co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak, is the latest on the growing list of key influential individuals who believes that not only is Bitcoin (BTC) a new kind of ‘digital gold’ but that the cryptocurrency may, in fact, be superior to gold as well. Wozniak, or ‘Woz’ as he, if often referred to, is an American philanthropist, computer programmer, electronics engineer, and entrepreneur. Many consider him to have been a vital part of the rise of Apple and its successful dominance in the tech industry, and the UC Berkeley graduate has certainly done his part to usher in a new era of global digitalization.
Steve continues to be bullish on Bitcoin, despite the recent difficulties that the flagship cryptocurrency had recently experienced. China’s recent ban on the crypto industry in its near totality had caused numerous investors and companies to turn bearish on Bitcoin. However, a comeback had followed in the crypto market not soon afterward.
‘It’s a miracle’
In addition to Steven’s bullish stance on Bitcoin, ‘Woz’ had even gone as far as to claim that the success of Bitcoin and its infrastructure is nothing short of an ‘outstanding mathematical miracle’. He had made this statement at this year’s Jalisco Talent Land Digital event.
Moreover, the co-founder additionally thinks that Bitcoin is superior to gold for one main reason, and that is the fact that gold is simply not scarce enough. He went on to say that the world continues to find gold to this day and that it is incredibly likely that we will eventually begin manufacturing it in numerous factories worldwide.
Bitcoin is here to stay
While it should be mentioned that Steve does not have a personal investment in Bitcoin, he is nevertheless completely convinced that the world’s highest-ranked cryptocurrency is here to stay for the long run.
