Bitmain Has Introduced a Powerful Bitcoin ASIC Miner With 110 TH/s
The coming soon ASIC miner S19 will beat the S17 (55 TH/s, 67 TH/s) in hashing capacity
The Bitcoin halving event is approaching and miners’ manufacturers strive to deliver the miners with improved power efficiency and a high hashing rate. The mining industry is booming resulted in tough competition. The China-based large miners’ manufacturer Bitmain launches its new product called Antminer S19.
The mining hardware continues to evolve to meets the standard demands. Many companies are producing ASIC miners that are faster and consume less energy. The new cryptocurrencies are adding up in the existing list thus increasing the demand for more efficient mining machines.
The halving event of the Bitcoin is 74 days away. After the event, the reward will cut into half from 12.5 BTC to 6.25 BTC. According to Bitcoin maximalists, there will be a tough condition for BTC mining after the reduction of reward because of high power costs. The small level players will be out of the game as they cannot afford the expenses of the electricity. Those who want to mine the Bitcoin will have to use powerful machines consuming less energy.
Antminer S19 and Antminer S19 Pro
To counterfeit the impending halving event, new ASIC miners are coming into the market. The giant mining company Bitmain introduced its new Antminer S19 with four different versions. The Antminer S19 has two further variants: 95 TH/s model and 90 TH/s model. The Pro version is also announced by the company. Antminer S19 Pro will come in 110 TH/s and 105 TH/s models respectively.

The founder member of the Primitive Ventures, Dovey Wan, asked from the Bitmain about whether they delivered all the shipments of ordered S17. She concluded her comment over the latest announcement by saying that there is a lot of difference between the announcement and the actual delivery.

Currently, Bitmain is delivering S17 to customers. However, the shipments are delayed to some customers because of the Coronavirus outbreak. The coming soon ASIC miner S19 will beat the S17 (55 TH/s, 67 TH/s) in hashing capacity. The prices are not yet mentioned on the site for S19 as status ‘Coming Soon’ is shown.
