Top virtual artifacts and non-fungible (NFT) platform, Enjin, will be releasing limited NFTs for famous Egyptian monuments such as the great sphinx and the Giza pyramids. In addition, collectors will be allowed to deploy any of these monuments on various digital art platforms.
Enjin announced this news via a press release made available to the media a few moments ago. Enjoin will collaborate with another top firm in the digital art world (virtual worlds). Virtual Worlds have been digitizing historical monuments for over 20 years.
This project is the first historical monument to have NFT tokens. Through this project, collectors will also have the opportunity to interact with actual renditions of monuments globally. The NFTs of these Egyptian monuments will utilize a combination of Unreal Engine and 60K-photogrammetry scans so that the digital copy of these monuments can be as accurate as possible.
NFT 3D Worlds
Based on their experience with this project, Enjin and Virtual Worlds plan to develop 3D worlds that allow users to find and receive new NFTs via smart contracts. Also, users can be rewarded with Enjin tokens by completing treasure hunts.
Apart from traditional computer games, there would be categories for unique NFT artifacts such as Sarcophagi, Chariots, Scepters, Picchu Mast, and other statues’ real-world object models. Thus, NFT will be incorporated into the 3D games, VR apps, and AR apps of the Enjin ecosystem.
All these NFTs will be bought or sold on JumpNet Enjin blockchain (a unique NFT marketplace) and other Efinity, Polkadot, or Ethereum-based NFT marketplaces.
NFTs are also expanding into other non-digital arts areas. For example, NFTs can be tweaked into a ticket for virtual events such that those without them won’t be allowed into the events. This applies to all types of events – business, training, seminars, concerts, and art events.
NFT On Hot Wheels
Meanwhile, McLaren is partnering with Tezos to create a fan-based NFT platform. Tezos is an energy-efficient open-source blockchain for assets and applications. This NFT platform will include McLaren’s renowned driver line-ups and racing heritage.
Part of the partnership terms involves representing the Tezos brand on all McLaren formula one team, arrow McLaren SP teams, and the race suits of McLaren F1 and AMSP drivers such as Lando Norris, Daniel Riccardo, and Felix Rosenquist.
Similarly, toymaker giants Mattel is the latest creators to join the NFT craze. Mattel will be auctioning NFTs for its Hot Wheels’ Garage series. This series will include classic cars from its stable, such as Deora II, boneshaker, and twin mill. Apart from running the auction for a week, Mattel will allow the auction’s winner to pay via Ethereum.
In a recent interview with Mattel’s chief operating officer, Richard Dickson, he said this move would evolve the company’s physical toys into collectible art to ensure that Mattel’s brand remains “timeless and timely.” Mattel is now part of an exclusive club of NFT sellers such as the National Basket Association and the New York Times with this latest move.
