KuCoin Reveals Staggering Statistics Linking Crypto Investors And Football Just Before 2022 World Cup

Also referred to as “The People’s Exchange,” the cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin has made public its report analysing the relationship between crypto investors and football just before the 2022 World Cup. This was based on a survey conducted by the exchange. 

The Nexus Between Crypto and Football

The report, which was made public after analysing the data gotten from the exchange’s source of 20,180 crypto investors between the months of January and September 2022, as well as 8,022 members of the KuCoin community, examined critically, the meeting point of crypto and football and the endless possibilities that could be explored.

According to the survey, it can be deduced that football enthusiasts make up 4 out of every 10 cryptocurrency investors in France, Spain, Vietnam, Germany, and Brazil. And as such, it is perfectly safe to say that, in terms of sports, cryptocurrency investors prefer football. 

Also, according to the survey, the 2022 FIFA World Cup is being watched by 70% of cryptocurrency speculators, which is quite a large percentage. 

Also, among cryptocurrency investors, 48% of football enthusiasts are interested in exchanging fan tokens for their favourite teams at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, while about 35% of them have engaged in trading NFTs in the past 6 months, and about 42% have shown interest in trading in sports NFT.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup Set to Be One of The Biggest Avenues To Exchange And Promote Cryptocurrency. 

The FIFA World Cup Championship, whose first tournament was in 1930, is widely known to be a football tournament of the highest prestige. It is safe to say that the tournament witnesses the highest convergence of football fans from all over the globe.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup in particular has been predicted to be one that will redefine the concept of football as a game and its connection with cryptocurrency.

In light of this, KuCoin has announced its partnership with the biggest proponents of change and impact in the Web3 and Web2 communities. Some of them include YGGSEA, Polygon, and WinGoal to unveil a 4-day event tagged “Shoot to Win Goal.”

The event, which has a $1 million reward pool, aims to reward football and crypto enthusiasts. Users can win items like iPhones, jerseys, tokens, and so on for free.
