To combat a centralized monopoly, the decentralized company Presearch rolls out a decentralized search platform. The search engine is a competitor to traditional search engines, such as Google.
Since the last few years, the crypto and blockchain community has raised its voice in favor of decentralized platforms, which cannot be manipulated by any central authority.
Focus on Privacy and Security
The main goal of the company is to provide mental satisfaction to users regarding privacy and security. What’s more, the users will be able to claim rewards in cryptocurrency for using the search engine.
According to Presearch, the privacy-centric search platform will be based on the Ethereum network, the world’s second-largest blockchain. The establishment of independent nodes will protect the privacy of users. It will challenge the centralized power of Google that is being accused of users’ data manipulation.
It will be launched for public use within the next two weeks as it will transfer from a centralized network to independent nodes. As per the given information, the Presearch’s team will initially operate the nodes till the implementation of independent nodes.

The startup has received a positive response from the community. According to Presearch’s statement, 1.7 million people have been registered so far while the number of active members has reached 300,000.

The PRE token has performed outstandingly in terms of price value for the last few weeks. Currently, the price value of the coin is standing at $0.05 after an increase of 75% in the last week. According to CoinGecko, the price value of the token is up 120% over the last 30-days.

He then contacted the US Federal Trade Commission and registered his complaint against Google’s monopoly. After disappointment by the centralized authorities, he decided to launch a manipulation-free engine. In 2017, he selected the Ethereum network as the network was a reliable and feasible platform to launch a decentralized project with zero roles of central authority.
