Miami Nightclub To Start Accepting Crypto Upon Reopening

The coronavirus pandemic that started in China and spread to other parts of the world caused chaos as people began to die and businesses began to fold up. This was due to the statewide lockdown across different countries, as most chose to move their businesses online. While online, there was little to do, and most people turned to crypto as their savior.

With things going back to normal, a nightclub in Miami has made a new update. According to the nightclub in question, E11even, it would start accepting payments in digital assets when services kick back to life in full force. In the full announcement, the company pointed out that the services that it would take crypto as payments for, mentioning tables, drinks alongside merchandise, and other services.

The nightclub will partner with an unnamed exchange

The nightclub mentioned that it would first start accepting Bitcoin, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, and Doge in the official announcement. To bring the vision to life, the nightclub said it would partner up with a crypto exchange but has refrained from mentioning the company’s name.

In the statement, the company said that judging by the massive adoption that crypto has seen, that was one of the reasons why it considers adding it as a payment option. The firm also mentioned that another factor that pushed them was the clarion call for crypto and tech by the Mayor of Miami, Francis Suarez.

The paper also said that it is something nice and expected as most people around the country now own a form of crypto or another. The CEO pointed out that their clients span from all over the world and most of them are well versed in the digital space.

“Our clients have been bugging us that they want to pay for services using digital assets for some years now. We believe that nightclubs would start adopting crypto payment options, and we want to be the one that would kickstart that into existence,” Gino LoPinto said.
