Ripple and Coinbase failed to rank in the LinkedIn’s 10 Hottest Startups in the US

Ripple and the popular crypto exchange Coinbase are unable to take their place in the top ten ranks of the list published by LinkedIn of the US of the year 2019.

When checking the last year’s progress of these two firms, one can wonder to know that Coinbase was standing at 3rd position while Ripple ranked at the seventh position and ultimately  slumped to 29th and 28th respectively in 2019.

Down Ranking of Crypto Startups

LinkedIn has revealed its list of top 50 growing startups in the United States that upset the crypto fans because it seems that the popularity of digital money in America has decreased as compared to the previous year. This may be due to the strict rules and regulations implemented on the cryptocurrencies firms and foundations.

There might be other possible reasons which are not so important to be noted here. It also shows that two crypto startups Coinbase and XRP backed Ripple is no more in the ranked institutions of the US.

Robinhood

This year traditional stock trading platform beat the blockchain-based platforms as Robinhood that is a traditional financial service provider is succeeded to be ranked on the 7th number on the list. However, it also offers the trading of cryptocurrencies but not considered a pure blockchain platform.

Eligibility Criteria for Ranking

LinkedIn has some standards and parameters to scale the companies ranking positions. The company should be seven years old or younger and must headquarters in the US; besides these two conditions, it must have at least 50 employees and be controlled privately.

The four things which are used as a spectacle to rank include the growth of employees; jobseeker interests and its employees’ engagement with the company as well as its users’ engagement. These are the four pillars that are responsible for the popularity index of firms.

It is important to pinpoint here that these two giant crypto manipulators have lost the chance to list in the LinkedIn’s ranking as they have crossed the standard limit of seven years and is now older than 7 years.
