TSM Partners With Avalanche To Bring Web3 To Gamers

TSM, the worldwide leader in video games, esports, and creator-centric ventures, and Blitz, the firm’s competitive gaming platform, will utilize the Avalanche blockchain platform to transform the gaming industry.

Despite its exposure to the FTX fallout last year, the leading esports player TSM remains focused on the bigger picture, as evidenced by its latest partnership announcement.

Blitz To Use Core For Managing Payments

Through Avalanche, TSM aims to introduce novel gaming experiences for players, creators, and fans, advancing the mainstream adoption of player-centric Web3 gaming products. Moreover, TSM and Blitz intend to utilize Core to manage user payments and facilitate digital asset buying, trading, and sales.

Under the partnership, Blitz, the company’s gaming application boasting 30 million users, will develop its subnet on Avalanche – a custom blockchain solution designed for optimal speed, scalability, and security. Additionally, TSM will organize Avalanche-themed tournaments on Blitz’s Avalanche Subnet.

This will provide players with performance insights, learning tools to enhance their skills, and an opportunity to compete in the Blitz Arena for various prizes. Furthermore, TSM and Blitz are set to spearhead advancements through AVAX-powered Subnets.

Blitz’s subnet will leverage AVAX as payment for gas fees and incinerate a fraction of AVAX fees with each gaming transaction. Moreover, the Blitz Subnet plans to transition into an Elastic Subnet in due course.

The transition will empower community members to validate the subnet and participate more actively. According to John Wu, Ava Labs President, “collaborating with TSM enables us to offer truly groundbreaking gaming experiences to users across the globe.”

The Ava Labs President added that Avalanche’s customizable subnets were specifically developed to empower organizations such as TSM to transcend the limitations of conventional gaming platforms, offering increased scalability, transaction speeds, and unparalleled security for users.

TSM Partnered With FTX Exchange In 2021

Andy Dinh, the CEO and Founder of TSM and Blitz, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership. He said, “I am thrilled to collaborate with Avalanche on initiatives to enhance the experience of our supporters and users. They are a genuine leader in this field, and we share a long-term mutual goal of developing beneficial and authentic products for our community.”

Meanwhile, this partnership is particularly significant for Avalanche gaming, given the platform’s extensive list of live games and eagerly awaited titles from leading publishers. This consolidates Avalanche’s position as the foremost choice for game players and developers.

Also, TSM is a veteran organization in the gaming industry, with its operations in this sector spanning over a decade. TSM presently competes in several popular titles, including but not limited to Dota 2, Apex Legends, League of Legends, Valorant, and R6S.
