A Group Of Users In Colombia Have Sued Binance Exchange For Blocking Their Accounts
A group of consumers has stated that their accounts were stopped by Binance for approximately 5 months. At present, they intend to file a lawsuit in this respect. The most interesting thing is that a person deposits funds into an account and then at once gets an email stating that the respective funds cannot be accessed because they have come from illegal operations.
The same situation was experienced by the Colombian consumers of the crypto exchange who traded crypto through Binance.
More than 5 months have elapsed since the Colombian consumers’ group has posted a report of their accounts’ blockage by the crypto exchange due to the allegation that their friends have been gathered from some illegitimate operations, as stated by the FIOD (Netherlands-based Tax Information and Investigation Service). A few of them even mentioned that their Funds have been taken off from their accounts.
Binance customers reported being restricted for over 5 months
Andrea Torrente is one of the affected consumers who revealed in an interview conducted on the behalf of Criptonotixians (a Latin America-based crypto news platform) that 15 days back, she was compelled to move toward legal options via her lawyer to attempt recovering account which has been blocked by Binance.
Nonetheless, no official response has been shown by the legal representative of the crypto exchange or the Colombian authorities in this respect.
Apart from this, she disclosed that only those people’s accounts have been unblocked who were not provided with a blocking notification on the behalf of the FIOD. As per her, this week comes to be the deadline for the legal representative of Binance as well as the rest of the authorities to be notified.

The customers committed to sue Binance
