Australian Pirated All Minted NFTs on Ethereum and Solana

An Australian man has reportedly pirated all Non-fungible tokens minted on the Ethereum and Solana blockchains. According to reports, the NFTs, which are 17.96 TB in size, were found to be available on PirateBay.

The brain behind the piracy, Geoffrey Huntley, who is also a software developer, revealed that he rented a bare-metal server at a cost of $200 AUD to orchestrate the prank. Huntley added that he got four 10TB hard disks, and was completely satisfied with his mission. Finally, the Australian developer said that the screenshots of the collectibles were meant for people to learn about NFTs, which he branded as “tulip mania.”

Skeptics Laud Huntley for His Right-Click Save Stunt

Huntley’s trick garnered over 2000 likes in an hour on Twitter, but that didn’t cut it. He was praised by tons of people, especially his fellow NFT right-clickers for pulling off such an act. Others heaped praises on him for making NFTs decentralized by torrenting.

Right-clickers refer to persons who prefer to right-click an image to save it instead of spending an insane amount of money to obtain digital ownership of the image. Right-clickers don’t see value in NFTs, and engage in methods to discredit the digital collectibles.

Huntley described his work as an “art project.” The Australian developer has been wary of the technology, but firmly thinks that social media could popularize it even and facilitate adoption. He said that to many, digital representation is greater than physical, and when tech giants, such as TikTok allow the flair display on the platform, that will kickstart the adoption

NFT Patronizers Are Subject to Mockery

NFT patronizers have always been mocked on social media platforms for spending lavishly. Last week, a mosaic of a right clicker went viral on Twitter. The user on the platform posted a mosaic made of 10,000 NFTs from the Lazy Lions collection.

The attempt on the mosaic was to ridicule the hyped NFT space and its supporters, and it paid off. The tweet ended up garnering over 80,000 likes. Twitter users heaped praises on the mosaic, calling it a real work of art.

Skeptics have not shied away from engaging in derogatory methods to libel NFTs in the bad light. Huntley and co have proudly imbibed their right-click mentality and created a divide between NFT enthusiasts and detractors. Despite the likes of McDonald’s and payment gateway giant Visa partaking in the NFT craze, the resistance against these collectibles is growing stronger everyday, no thanks to right-clickers.
