Payments Via Bitcoin Suisse

Bitcoin Suisse is working in Switzerland for many years and has a bright record for providing crypto services in the country. It is already providing a crypto payment solution for another Swiss town called Zug since 2016. Zug was the first-ever city to accept payments for tax in crypto.

Armin Schmid, the head of crypto payments of Bitcoin Suisse, expressed his views on the partnership with new Swiss city:

By accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment, Zermatt finds itself once more among the pioneers and supporting a growing ecosystem of cryptocurrencies.

Zermatt, a prominent tourist resort, not only enables the residents of the town to access the point-of-sale device but also helps them to pay taxes at the communal level via bitcoin. The municipality has added the crypto payment solution as an option. The citizens will apply for the crypto solution via Zermatt Tax Office to pay taxes with BTC. The users will be able to transfer the bitcoin from their personal wallets after accessing the online payment portal through an email link.
