British Fintech Firm Revolut Expands Its Crypto Offerings By Adding 4 New Cryptos

Revolut, a London-headquartered British fintech firm has announced the addition of new digital currencies for its European users in a bid to expand its list of cryptocurrency offerings. According to an official announcement made by Revolut on Thursday the 10th of December, the digital bank startup has introduced four new digital currencies to its platform for users. The firm has added trading support for additional four cryptocurrencies for its users that are based in the European Economic Area (EEA).

Revolut now supports EOS, OMG, ZRX, XTZ

As per the announcement, the newly-added four digital currencies include EOS the native digital currency of the EOS blockchain network, XTZ the native digital token of the Tezos blockchain, OMG Network’s native digital token OMG, and 0x (ZRX). European users of Revolut now will be able to purchase or sell these new digital currencies as well.

Prior to launching trading support for these additional digital assets, the firm is already offering services of buying and selling for the top-traded cryptocurrencies of the crypto market since the year 2017 when it first announced the trading service for cryptocurrencies allowing users to get access to cryptocurrencies. Initially, it launched support for a few famous digital currencies including the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market cap Bitcoin (BTC), the native cryptocurrency of the world’s second-largest blockchain Ethereum (ETH), and the fifth-ranked cryptocurrency Litecoin (LTC).

Later on, it decided to add some more cryptocurrencies into its list of crypto offerings and listed the blockchain payment firm Ripple’s native digital token XRP, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Stellar Lumens’ XLM cryptocurrency. There is likely a chance that the British firm might be looking forward to adding more cryptocurrencies in the future.

Revolut is expanding its crypto services

Revolut seems to be focused on its mission of expanding its suite of digital currency services all across the whole world. In the month of September, the firm expanded its service of crypto buying and selling to the residents of Australia while providing them an opportunity to convert Australian dollars and other 26 fiat currencies into its supported digital currencies by using its application.

In the mid of July, it brought the trading of Bitcoin and Ether to the residents of the United States. At that time, it expanded its cryptocurrency trading service across 49 states of the United States.
