DeGods & Y00ts Lead Crypto Shift to Ethereum & Polygon

In the world of crypto, there is always a shift in the winds of change. DeGods and Y00ts, have recently decided to depart from the Solana network and head towards the direction of Ethereum and Polygon. DeGods, a digital currency development venture, has declared its intention of relocating to the Ethereum network. They will also be transferring their DUST coin to Ethereum. As for Y00ts, it will be moving to the Polygon network in the first quarter of 2023.

These projects are switching networks in order to gain access to the unique perks each platform has to offer such as lower transaction costs, faster processing times, and improved scalability. Additionally, Ethereum and Polygon are considered more established and have a wider user base, which may open up more opportunities for growth and development for these projects.

According to Frankdegods, a spokesperson for DeGods, the decision to move to Ethereum is a calculated move to boost growth potential for both the projects. He also showed appreciation to the Solana community for their support.

The team behind Y00ts has decided to migrate to the Polygon network to expand its reach to potential NFT buyers. The move will be facilitated by a cross-chain bridge. Polygon Studios, the creators of the layer-2 blockchain that Y00ts will be joining, has been exploring ways to harness the potential of web3 by collaborating with big enterprise brands, DeFi platforms, and gaming companies.

They have established partnerships with major organizations such as Starbucks, as and NFT projects with brands like Prada that make use of their blockchain technology. It’s worth noting that DeGods had previously requested $5 million from the Solana Foundation in order to remain on their network.

It’s interesting to see that DeGods and Y00ts are leaving Solana, just a month after the exit of FTX. It will be intriguing to see how these projects perform on their new networks as the market evolves and how other projects in the industry react to this move.

Overall, the migration of DeGods and Y00ts to Ethereum and Polygon respectively is a reflection of the ever-changing nature of the crypto market. As the demand for NFTs continues to grow, it’s likely that more projects will follow in the footsteps of DeGods and Y00ts in seeking out more suitable platforms for their growth and development.
