DOGE Co-Founder Slams Dogecoin Community: Here Is What Happened
Recently, the co-creator of the prominent meme-inspired crypto token Dogecoin, Billy Markus, targeted the participants within the community of Dogecoin ($DOGE) for continuously endeavoring to devastate the community from within.
Initially, Dogecoin was issued on 6th December of 2013. Jackson Palmer and Billy Markus were responsible for the development of this crypto token. The token is a peer-to-peer digital currency that is based on decentralized technology and has the logo of “Doge” (a Japan-based breed of dog).
After that the fame of this crypto token has considerably increased, particularly during this year, largely because of the support provided by billionaires such as Mark Cuban and the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla (Elon Musk), making it the 12th among the valuable cryptos, with a market capitalization of more than $25.37B.
In a Twitter post of 21st December, frustration has been expressed by Markus regarding the actions associated with a handful of people within the community of $DOGE, stating that their activities are signifying some counterproductive tendencies.

Though Markus considers that the dominant ratio of $DOGE community comprises of good people, he cursed the operations of those who had been successful in making their voices to be heard as loudest across the community. The tweet of Markus was posted as an answer to “Jimjimmiejames” – a Twitter user who drew an outline of several dogecoin battles being fought among the community and inquired if the community was worthy to be a part of it.
Although the network of Dogecoin has been charged with the scarcity of advancement notwithstanding its rapid price elevation during the past year, Markus has been seen as a vigorous crypto member and during the later period of September, he provided several concepts regarding making advancement in $DOGE. Nonetheless, in this scenario, Marcus rebuked the black sheep hidden in the community of Dogecoin who actively work to spread a sense of hostility among the members of the community.
He moved on to provide two recommendations to help improve the network. The first one among them was related to the construction of a bridge between ETH and DOGE. The other one was dealing with the utilization of both the crypto tokens in making purchases of day-to-day products and services. He concluded the discussion by stating that, at present, the purchase of NFTs via cryptocurrency is skyrocketing thus the permission to use DOGE for NFT purchases would increase the use cases of the respective token.
