E-NewHealthLife – DLT-based Medical Data Management Platform All Set to Store COVID-19 Test Results
After going live, the medical data management platform built on blockchain technology by VeChain “E-NewHealthLife” is now ready to store the COVID-9 testing results in a hospital of Cyprus. E-NewHealthLife was co-developed by VeChain blockchain platform and I-Dante, the digital healthcare solutions company in the previous month of May to cater to the needs of hospitals facing issues with medical data management.

Cyprus Hospital to deploy E-NewHealthLife for Storing Medical Data
The Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus which is one of the major healthcare institutions in the Emergency Department of Cyprus is deploying VeChain’s blockchain-based medical data management platform E-NewHealthLife to store the COVID-19 testing results of citizens.

Those who visit Cyprus hospital and go through various antibodies and diagnostic tests in the COVID-19 laboratory of the hospital, they can now get their testing results and other medical records on the blockchain. According to the company, the medical data records will go through various steps of encryption and hashing, and then it will be transferred onto the VeChainThor blockchain platform.
People can access their Medical Data through E-HCert App
The citizens of the Republic of Cyprus can access their medical data and testing results via the E-HCert application of the company which has been adopted specially for this purpose. Users of the E-HCert App will be able to control and check their tested results and medical data easily through this application.
Users can also prove their medical or health status via this app which means that they can resume their work and other activities by complying with health regulations center with the help of their medical records on the E-HCert App. According to the company, the benefits of using the E-HCert App is that it lowers the data storage cost.
