He has changed his profile picture once again to show support for his favorite meme cryptocurrency, Dogecoin. The new profile picture shows Musk wearing glasses that have a reflection of Doge meme avatar Shiba Inu mascot.
His new profile picture caught the attention of many crypto proponents. It also managed to surge the price value of Dogecoin by 20%. Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus also took to Twitter to show another funny meme on Twitter. This new meme showed a famous Tobey Maguire’s character wearing the glasses with DOGE reflection that drives up the stock market prices.
Musk’s Son is a Dogecoin Holder
Just a few days ago, Elon Musk took to Twitter to claim that his son, little X, is a champion at holding Dogecoin. He further claimed that he has made his son an owner of the meme cryptocurrency and also called him a toddler hodler. A Twitter account called Uncle Doge posted a Dogecoin-related meme where Little X put all his money into Dogecoin vending machine.
Replying to the said meme, Musk responded that his son has been holding Dogecoin like a champion, and he has not even said the word ‘sell’ even once thus far. It could be a signal for the Dogecoin traders to hold on to their meme crypto stashes. At present, both Dogecoin and Bitcoin prices are depleting.
Binance Burns 1.3 million Native Tokens
Binance recently burned 1.3 million BNB tokens valued at $393 million currently. It was the 16th consecutive BNB burning session. As per the whitepaper for BNB, Binance has been committed to burning down its total supply in circulation into half that stood at 100 million tokens. Every three months, Binance is committed to destroying 20 percent of its quarterly profits. However, there have been some changes made to the white paper. Now the amount of burning tokens is determined by the trading volume at the Binance Smart Chain. According to Binance officials, the BNB token burning would commence until 50% of the circulation supply has been destroyed.
