Famous TV Show Star Maisie Williams Wants To Buy Bitcoin

Maisie Williams had appeared in various TV shows and films including her new Marvel’s movie, The New Mutants. However, the female artist’s popularity skyrocketed when she had appeared in the overwhelmingly popular TV series called “Game of Thrones”. Since then she had acclaimed various awards and gained huge fan following spanning over millions around the world.
Maisie played role of a girl named Arya Shark in the famous TV series which concluded its 8th season in 2019.
She had been a busy artist but doesn’t miss replying to tweets and had been very active Twitter user. In her latest tweet, she had been found seeking opinions from the public regarding cryptocurrencies. In particular she had sought opinion whether she should buy a few Bitcoins or not and initiated a poll.
This is not new that an established artist is interested in buying Bitcoin. Cryptocurrencies, particularly through Bitcoin, had been attracting stars from every industry in the past.
The current net worth of Maisie is over US$ 7 Million. On November 16, the artist was seen tweeting that she wanted to buy some Bitcoins. Instantly, there were more than 1 million votes in favour of her intended investment in Bitcoin. Her fans also took the opportunity to give “likes” to her post which fetched 4.5k comments. Interestingly her tweet was shared more than three thousand times. As of the time of this press release, she had accrued 52.9% votes in favour of Bitcoin.
Soon tweet saga was joined by many popular entrepreneurs which included Elon Musk of Tesla and Spacex. He replied to Maisie’s tweet by advising her to invest in Bitcoin because Bitcoin is currently on the rally. However, in his tweet Musk mistakenly made a reference to the series in which the star had appeared. He wanted to refer “Game of Thrones” but ended up referring to another TV series called “The Witcher”.
Thereafter Musk was informed by artist’s fans that she had not appeared in The Withcer but it was too late. Later on, Maisie replied to Musk by asking him about Blue Origin – which apparently is a competitor of Musk’s Spacex. But it was clarified that no offence had been taken by both individuals.
