Schulman’s departure follows that of product manager Peter Deng and Brockman’s recent announcement of an extended leave of absence.

OpenAI has responded by releasing private emails indicating that Musk was aware of and even endorsed the move towards a for-profit model to secure the necessary resources for developing artificial general intelligence (AGI).

Anthropic, founded in 2021 by former OpenAI executives Dario and Daniela Amodei, has quickly emerged as a significant player in the AI industry.
