NEO will now work with .NET Foundation: the first blockchain Startup Integrated with .NET
NEO has joined hands with the prominent open-source platform for software development called .NET Foundation and open doors for millions of developers to have experiences with the decentralized toolkit. It is worth noted that this collaboration is announced at the .NET 2019 conference.
The speech conveyed at the conference by the head of NGD Seattle John deVadoss stated:
As the first blockchain project to join the .NET Foundation, we’re excited to come together based on our shared commitment to open-source, to developers, and world-wide community collaboration. Based on our shared core values and principles, I am confident that this partnership will accelerate developer innovation to drive mass adoption of blockchain and build the foundation for next-gen Internet.
First Blockchain Member
This is the first experience of .NET Foundation to work with a Blockchain firm but both startups are very excited to enjoy this new celebrated project
As the NEO has a plan to expand its blockchain and to be applied by firms and companies across the globe. The main goal is to assist the firms in further strengthen the already established network by adding the feature of blockchain technology, the latest decentralized technology without any role of the third party.
Capabilities of Toolkit
NEO has released Toolkit for .NET to enable users and developers to innovate dApps as well as make smart development contracts.
This Toolkit comes with various new capabilities and features such as Smart Contract Debugger, NEO Express, Smart Contract Compiler Enhancements, FX Library, and Visual DevTracker. These functions will enhance the user experience and facilitate the developers to create dApps with ease.
John Galloway, executive director of .NET Foundation, expressed his sentiment:
The .NET Foundation is very excited to welcome NEO as the very first blockchain platform to join our community. NEO is a pioneer in adopting the .NET platform, and we support them in building an innovative decentralized platform and developer community. NEO is joining the .NET Foundation at an exciting time of growth for the .NET Foundation, as well, and we’re very happy to have them on-board!
Founder of NEO Erik Zhang has expressed his excitement in the given words:
We are very glad to be the first blockchain project joining the .NET Foundation. Moving forward, we anticipate closely collaborating with the .NET Foundation to deliver the most developer-friendly blockchain infrastructure for .NET developers — as exemplified by our recently launched NEO Blockchain Toolkit for .NET.
The main purpose behind this mission is to lay the foundation of next-generation internet developing community by the participation of thousands of developers that are linked with both firms.
