New Survey Reveals Americans Are Attracted To BTC More Than Gold And ETFs
A new survey has revealed that the citizens of the United States have found the first-ever decentralized digital currency Bitcoin (BTC) more attractive than the precious metal gold and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). As compared to the US citizens, the residents of Japan do not have a positive attitude towards digital currencies.
30% Of Participants Said Bitcoin is Attractive
The survey was conducted by the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange bitFlyer. In the survey, it reviewed the sentiment of residents of Japan and the United States towards the cryptocurrency industry. More than 3,000 from the United States and Japan participated in this survey and presented their views.
The crypto exchange asked investors about the most attractive investment asset in the year 2021. In response to this question, around 54 percent of the participants said that stocks would be the more attractive investment asset in the current year.
While on the other hand, a majority of participants also showed interest in the flagship cryptocurrency and preferred it over other investment assets. As per the results of the survey, around 30 percent of the participants in the United States consider Bitcoin attractive than that of the so-called safe-haven asset Gold. The precious commodity is attractive to only 16 percent of the participants. This means that Bitcoin is two times more famous among the US people than Gold. While on the other hand, 29 percent of the survey participants said that they had found ETFs more attractive investment asset.
Bitcoin was also the fourth most famous asset among the people of the United States. As compared to them, the primary digital currency was the fifth most famous investment asset among the people of Japan, revealed the paper released by the crypto exchange. These results found by the bitFlyer crypto exchange show that the dominant digital currency is becoming more and more popular in the United States. The reason behind this might be the recent bullish rally of the coin, which has impressed a lot of people from across the entire world, especially the big personalities.
Furthermore, the survey disclosed the fact that a majority of participants both from Japan and the US have heard of digital currencies.
