NYDIG To Offer BTC Payroll Services To The New York Yankees
NYDIG, a subsidiary of Stone Ridge, announced on July 14th that it had secured a multi-year agreement with the New York Yankees. As per the partnership, NYDIG will become the BTC payroll platform of the pro baseball club. The NYY is a club in the MLB (Major League Baseball).
NYDIG Inks Partnership Agreement With New York Yankees
The US baseball franchise, the New York Yankees and BTC firm NYDIG have reportedly signed a multi-year agreement. The company made the announcement on July 14th.
As per the agreement, the BTC firm will provide Yankees employees access to its Bitcoin Savings Plan (BSP). As a result, they can convert a portion of their salary check into BTC.
The NYDIG platform will provide employees with this benefit. Also, the BSP product has no storage or transaction costs.
Moreover, the BTC finance platform said several organizations enjoy its BSP service. Therefore, the Yankees organization made the right choice.
Additionally, Yankees’ VP of human resources, Aryn Sobo, said the club is always searching for how to improve its work experience. It made this decision now that many young workers opt to receive part of their income in BTC.
Meanwhile, the NYDIG conducted a study. The study revealed that 36% of employees under 30 years are interested in receiving this kind of payment.

Furthermore, the partnership between the NYY and NYDIG is not the first in the crypto industry. Several crypto firms have partnered with various sports teams in the past months.
Last year November, the NBA’s Houston Rockets partnered with the NYDIG. The BTC-driven firm said it worked with the MVB bank to provide white label BTC solutions to third parties.
According to the NYDIG’s CMO, Kelly Brewster, the firm is eager to work with the American baseball team. He stated that:
“We are happy to collaborate with the club from our hometown. This would allow us to deliver BTC to more persons. The NYDIG is dedicated to providing standards and services that would allow us to stand out.”
Additionally, Brewster noted that it would assist its clients in reaping the benefits of BTC. Having a BTC Savings Plan can be beneficial for employees and NYY.
