Yoshitaka Kitao, CEO of SBI Group, has told media that the company would file for a public listing as soon as the ongoing lawsuit reaches an end. Kitao first hinted at filing for a public listing application with SEC after Coinbase stock raised many folds during its direct listing event at NASDAQ. Ripple Labs executive Brad Garlinghouse also added that having an SEC lawsuit would allow them to develop better clarity and develop an aptitude for regulatory certainty.
RippleX’s community platform is looking to extend its current public interest. John Deaton, the independent attorney representing the movants in the Ripple Labs case, has made room for as many as 17000 Ripple Labs investors in the court. The RippleX community grants program that is enthusiastic about introducing NFT markets, exchange platforms, online auction halls, and digital wallet integrators would give the winning team a chance to work with the pioneer blockchain developers.
During the first rounds of submitting the applications, the developers are required to present an idea and make it available on the open-sourced application aggregator Github. Further details about this project would be broadcasted on the RippleXDev, a dedicated channel for the service on Twitch.
