The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the airline giant Ryanair Michael O’Leary has recommended users in an interview with The Sunday Times that they should avoid the world’s top-ranked digital currency Bitcoin (BTC) like they avoid a plague. This remark came from the Ryanair CEO after his name was exploited in a Bitcoin scam recently.
I would never invest in Bitcoin Says O’Leary
While talking to The Sunday Times, Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said that it is highly suggested for people who have the common sense to avoid using the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin like a plague. He said:
“I would strongly advise everyone with any shred of common sense to ignore this false story and avoid bitcoin like a plague.”
Furthermore, he claimed in the interview that he has never invested in Bitcoin ever before in his life and says that he is never going to invest in the world’s largest cryptocurrency in the future. O’Leary even compared the leading crypto asset with a Ponzi scheme as well. He stated, “I have never, and would never, invest one cent in bitcoin, which I believe is equivalent to a Ponzi scheme.”

After exploiting the image and names of various famous celebrities such as Holly Willoughby, Simon Cowell, Jeremy Clarkson, Lord Sugar, and Sir Philip Green, the cryptocurrency fraudsters are now exploiting the name of Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary in bitcoin scams.
Michael O’Leary had got involved in a famous bitcoin scam known as Bitcoin Lifestyle where his name was used to promote the scam. Bitcoin Lifestyle scam conducted a fake interview with the name of “The Late Late Show” hosted by Ryan Tubridy. In this interview, Michael O’Leary was seeing asking people to invest their money into the money-making program.
“The Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy was left in disbelief as Michael pulled out his phone and showed viewers how much money he’s making through this new money-making programme that has everybody in Ireland whispering.”
However, O’Leary has refused this Bitcoin Lifestyle scam that has used his name and image.
