Sandstorm Launches Platform For Leading Companies And Metaverse Developers

SandStorm, the world’s largest weekly metaverse event, will establish a live platform and NFT market on Polygon and Ethereum. In the metaverse, the platform and NFT marketplace will connect the world’s best brands with the world’s best builders. Companies with little or no metaverse presence will have access to hundreds of authorized builders to learn about what is possible for their business in Web3 through the program.
White-glove service is also available from SandStorm, allowing them to bring companies into the metaverse and create unique metaverse experiences for them. It’s SandStorm’s mission, first and foremost, to connect outstanding builders with hungry companies and bridge the knowledge gap on what is possible in the metaverse.
SandStorm’s goal is to become the most trusted platform for large and small organizations across a wide range of strategic verticals as more and more brands enter the metaverse. The beta platform, which will debut at this year’s SXSW interactive show, will contain these verticals.
The beta platform’s layer-two technology aims to reduce the cost of producing high-quality NFTs in VOX and VXM file formats to pennies on the dollar. With Sandstorm, unlike other NFT markets like Rarible, OpenSea, or LooksRare that offer art, trading cards, and many more categories, the focus is solely on metaverse ready NFTs. For the first time, SandStorm offered marketers a new opportunity to obtain visibility in the metaverse by live streaming five days a week from their marketplace straight to their audience.
The platform has been used to build structures, avatars, even custom headphones. We’d want to see some examples to get a sense of how much time and effort goes into creating one-of-a-kind NFTs. ‘1,000+ collections’ aren’t worth our time, according to us. In the words of SandStorm’s CEO Steve McGarry
Supporters Of The Cause
There was a superb collection of strategic Web3 investors that invested in SandStorm’s seed round earlier this week, including Rarestone, MetaStreet, and Kerve Capital, as well as GBV and Fenbushi Capitals, Sanctor Capitals, and Sandbox Founder Sebastien Borget. Strategic relationships in the virtual world have been formed by key investors with The Sandbox, CyberKongz, and vEmpire.
A Program for Builders
To encourage builders to show off their skills, SandStorm has been holding a contest every month since October 2021. Builders are asked to construct and submit NFTs based on a topic selected by a partnering brand. To be listed on the SandStorm official Sandbox Marketplace collection, a vote from the community is required for each contribution.
More than $50,000 in prize money will be awarded to the champions of Sandstorm’s popular building competition each month, thanks to a partnership with The Sandbox. As a result of this initiative, creators will sell their work on the platform and gain exposure to major companies joining the metaverse for the first time.
