Bitcoin has been able to steal the show on several occasions, putting itself on top of other digital assets in the crypto sector. While the movement of the asset is commendable, the actions of the proponents of the crypto asset are another thing. While most of them are in the financial market, some of the few proponents are outside the market, with a typical example being the CEO of car making company, Elon Musk.

Musk has shown his support for the digital asset, which led to his company devoting $1.5 billion to the digital asset. But their recent act of goodwill has shown that they have better things than investing to offer in the crypto sector.

In a recent update made by Tesla, the firm has been able to help famous wallet service provider BTCPay fix a glitch in its server. The statement explained that the entity discovered the bug in their open-source network. Tesla was said to have taken a look at the GitHub project that is being carried out by the wallet provider where it discovered the error.

The statement made available on the wallets GitHub page pointed out where the issue was emanating from. It pointed out that most of the people that would be affected by this glitch are the ones that used Docker Deployment to start up their app. ‘After an audit was conducted and we were told about it, we pulled all our personnel. All our developers were busy taking note and fixing the problem,’ Nicolas Dorier told newsmen.

He further mentioned that at this present time, the company has been helping them look into security-related issues to improve the service for their users. The BTCPay team has also taken to its GitHub to update its users that they have noted the glitch and are working on it and would release more information about the bug.

The CEO has also thanked Tesla and its team of experts for helping them professionally and helping them to salvage and handle the situation. The company also mentioned that it was not only Tesla that added their efforts as a private researcher in the security sector, Qaiser Abbas also added his efforts. The BTCPay server was said to have been developed and launched by now CEO Nicola Dorier.

The server was developed due to the issue that arose from the 2016 segwit soft work.
