An anonymous user of Twitter claimed that he hacked the Twitter official account of Binance’s Jersey. Later, the news was confirmed by the official telegram channel of the exchange. The hacker asked the CEO of Binance to contact him privately. This news creates the hype of terror among the users as the exchange was hacked in the past and lost a pile of digital assets.
Binance’s Jersey
Binance, the largest exchange of cryptocurrency by trading volume, has four independent branches in 4 different cities. Jersey’s branch is attacked by the hacker out of 4 while the other three sub-exchanges are present in Singapore, Uganda, and Malta. It is said that the US branch is going to launch in the coming two months.
Hacker Demands
The hacker account is registered on Twitter with username @LightningNetwo9 and has a totally unknown identity. He himself called a security researcher and asked the community of the platform for money because he is in a huge need of money.
I managed to successfully overtake Binance official domain (binance.je) that I could have easily turned into a huge phishing scheme and scam millions. What I decided is not to do that even tho Im in a huge need of money. I hope that the community will respect it.

Security Issues
The hacker confused the users, saying that, he will scam millions of users with the phishing scheme. A hacker attack happened three months ago and 7000 bitcoins lost by the Binance online exchange that raised many questions about its security framework. The incident of Twitter account hacking will add fuel to the doubts and concerns about the security system of exchange.
The scams ratio in the cryptocurrency markets is increasing and there is a condition of high alert among the traders and investors. According to a report by CypherTrace, the ratio of scams attacks has reached to the mark of $4.2 billion in the first half of the year 2019.
