The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mikhail Federov, recently announced his hope for Ukraine to become a world leading force in the crypto currency space. He also expressed his desire to be the first person to use the counrry’s digital currency when it is created.

A Drive To Push Ukraine To The Top

In a recent interview, Federov stated that he strongly believes that his country has the potential to be at the forefront of this growing and emerging technology. 

He praised the tech sector in his country which would bring this into the future while also commending his workforce for their capacity to make this a reality.

Federov disclosed that the government is currently cooking up some more initiatives to support and enhance the growth of crypto in the country.

Federov cited many areas he believed the country needed to work on to make this a reality,  one of which is the current infrastructure in the country.

He started this infrastructure is currently under works and the government is working tirelessly to improve the infrastructure created for crypto firms operating in the country.

These infrastructure includes the creation of a digital currency for the country to propagate the use of blockchain technology and crypto in the country.

He also expressed his desire to be the first individual to test out the CBDC once created and launched.

In addition to these initiatives, the government Is also handling other projects that will one way contribute to the growth of the sector in the country.

To support the growth of blockchain technology in the country, the government has pushed for the development of a national blockchain strategy, coupled with the creation of a blockchain based identity system for both individuals and firms.

Initiatives In Work Already To Make This A Reality

Overall, Federov’s inept desire for Ukraine to become a world leader in the field of cryptocurrency is one so strong that has propelled a lot of development in the country towards the growth of this crypto space. 

The country is also one step ahead with it’s strong tech force and talented workforce. 

This is however not enough as there are many other things to be put in place to make this a reality; and the government is working towards creating and implementing these infrastructures too.

It however remains to be seen if Ukraine will be able to achieve its aim of becoming at the forefront of this growing technology, but Federov’s ambitious goals are on the right track.
