‘Wolf of Wall Street’ J. Belfort Says He was Wrong About Bitcoin

The former stockbroker working on Wall Street, commonly known as the Wolf of Wallstreet Jordan Belfort, admits that he was wrong about the collapse of the flagship cryptocurrency and its value ultimately succumbing to zero.

He has handed out multiple predictions in the past when it comes to the future of Bitcoin and if it is the right time to invest in the crypto or not; although he has always been anti-crypto, recently, he has kind of come around to the prospect of Bitcoin being more than a cryptocurrency and a bit like the financial revolution.

‘Wolf of Wall Street’ Predicted Bitcoin Crash

Talking with Yahoo Finance, Jordan said that he really hated crypto back in the day and did never advise anyone to invest heavily into the asset except for rare occasions when the crypto market was booming, with bullish runs becoming more consistent and apparent than anything else and dominating the crypto sector.

He said that he was wrong about Bitcoin falling to zero and just failing to exist because he didn’t have any high hopes for the project back in 2017.

He was motivated and focused on his career within the stock market and making his fortune over there; he can’t blame those who have evidently scored their fortune in the crypto market investing in Bitcoin or various other cryptocurrencies out there.

When asked what the thing that gave it away to Jordan about Bitcoin falling to zero was, he did say that he believed the whole project to be an elaborative scam and he didn’t understand or wanted to heed any attention to the idea of decentralization, being in the stock business the whole thing was just moot to him, and he didn’t want anything to do with it.

He has evidently never invested in the crypto market, and he was right about almost everything regarding crypto except for the fact that Bitcoin’s overall value will account for zero in the upcoming few years. While Bitcoin is struggling at the moment, it is not necessarily a lost cause.
