6.1 million XRP cashed out by Ripple’s former CTO

On the other hand, the former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Ripple Jed McCaleb is continuing to cash out his XRP coins that he was given as a part of an agreement by the company. Recently, the Ripple CTO transferred an amount of 6.1 million from his “tacostand” wallet in order to cash it out.

Apart from this, the former CTO of Ripple received a big sum of money in XRP from the company as well at the beginning of this week. An amount of 60 million XRP worth $17,360,558 was sent to the wallet of Jed McCaleb. Ripple’s former CTO is cashing out the money in smaller amounts. So there is unlikely a chance that it would affect the exchange rate of XRP.

The third-largest digital currency in the world by market cap XRP is still trading in the $0.28 zone despite some attempts to finding a breakout towards $0.32. However, XRP’s price value is up 0.50% which means that the bullish sentiments for the coin are still out there in the market.
