According to Nvidia, the Ethereum Mining Limitation on their New Card was not Intentional

Nvidia, a high-end graphics manufacturing company based in the USA, admits that the Ethereum mining limitation on their new RTX 3060 GPU was lifted by mistake. This graphics card is designed specifically for gaming purposes, and thus no mining should be done on this, but there are people out there who are reportedly using this very same GPU to mine cryptocurrency, especially Ethereum. After this mistake which has led to the mining of Ethereum on the gaming-oriented RTX 3060, Nvidia is looking forward to making some amends by introducing the new and better mining graphics card range.
According to the reports put out by Nvidia, their new RTX 3060 cards were to offer a very limited performance along with a massive decline in the Ethereum hash rate, and the deception was about half of the total mining hash rate for Ethereum and the graphics card did hit the market shelves on 25th February 2021. These mining restrictions made this card only good for gaming and not for mining, for which the company was overwhelmed to present with a new range of Graphics cards.
However, as events transpired, Nvidia reported that some configurations of their RTX 3060s now don’t have the hash restrictions, which allows miners to continue with Ethereum mining a full throttle. The developer driver designed for the GPU range had a code in it which did overwrite the hash limit, providing a fully unlocked mining experience to the people. The hash rate corresponds to the computational power required for mining and the processing of transactions over the proof of work blockchains.
Nvidia Developing New GPU Mining Machines
Nvidia is looking to correct this mistake by developing cryptocurrency mining processors that would have all the raw capacity required to mine cryptocurrency at elevated rates. It allows for air controlled environment which provides enough cooling for the whole assembly to work without any problems, and other than that, it would have a bunch of high functioning GPU configurations that a single CPU would control, thus providing access to seamless processing. This is a practice being conducted by Nvidia to let their gaming GPUs land in the hand of gamers, and for miners, new GPUs with extraordinary mining capabilities will be designed.
