Binance Announces To Support Flare Networks’ Spark Airdrop and Snapshot

Flare Networks, a smart contracts platform’s upcoming Spark Token Airdrop is the next big thing going to happen in the cryptocurrency industry. In this token airdrop, Flare Networks will distribute a massive amount of free Spark tokens among the holders of the third-ranked cryptocurrency XRP. Only XRP token holders will be allowed to take part in this airdrop and claim free tokens. This airdrop is widely supported by several major digital currency exchanges. Binance, the world’s most famous cryptocurrency exchange has also announced to support Flare Networks’ airdrop.

Binance is the latest exchange to support Spark Airdrop

Recently, Flare Networks issued a list of cryptocurrency exchanges that have announced their support for its Spark token airdrop. The leading cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume Binance was not included in this list. However, now the exchange has confirmed through an official announcement today that it is now supporting Flare’s token airdrop.

Moreover, Binance has said that it will halt the service of withdrawals and deposits of XRP for users on the Snapshot day which is scheduled to be taken on the 12th of December. However, the trading of XRP will remain unaffected.

Apart from Binance, there are many other major digital currency exchanges that have already confirmed their support. These are the South Korean digital asset exchange Bithumb, the Luxembourg-based cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp, the Crypto.com exchange, the South Korea-based crypto exchange UPbit, the European exchange BitBay, Gopax, AltCoinTrader, Coinone, National Digital Asset Exchange (NDAX), BTC Markets, YouHodler, Nexo, Tokens.net, and various. In total, more than twenty cryptocurrency exchanges have wished to participate in this token airdrop.

There are still some other major cryptocurrency exchanges such as Huobi Global, Kraken, Coinbase, and Bitfinex that have yet to announce support for Flare. The team behind Flare has said that they are waiting for these crypto exchanges to announce support for the Spark distribution.

However, if these exchanges do not make announcements very soon the holders of XRP at these exchanges will be required to shift to any other trading platform or self-custody in the case they want to participate in the airdrop and claim free Spark tokens. The network has clearly stated that only those crypto exchanges and users that have confirmed their support for Flare will be able to take part in this airdrop.

Flare Networks’ Spark Airdrop will see the distribution of 45 billion Spark tokens

The Spark Token Airdrop of Flare Networks is going to happen in the next month. In this airdrop, an amount of 45 billion spark tokens will be available to claim for the holders of XRP. The snapshot of all XRP addresses taking part in this airdrop will be taken on December 12.

Flare Networks said, “from this snapshot known addresses belonging to: Ripple Labs, certain previous employees of Ripple Labs and any exchanges that have not confirmed their support to Flare will be removed.”
