Crypto exchange Coinbase, announces partnership with soccer club Borussia Dortmund which runs till June 2023.

The partnership is targeted at integrating cryptocurrency payments at the club’s stadium and merchandise store.

According to the official press release, the partnership’s aim is to inculcate the wonders of crypto into the world of sports.

As part of the terms of this partnership, Coinbase will be working with Dortmund to integrate cryptocurrency payments at the club’s stadium, as well as at the club’s merchandise store.

Also, this partnership also entails Borussia Dortmund hosting events targeted at lecturing fans on the benefits of crypto and the technology behind it.
The club will also be working with Coinbase to develop a digital collectible that fans can purchase and trade using cryptocurrency.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong commented on this partnership stating his excitement and longing to work with one of the most successful clubs in soccer.
This partnership is a major plunge forward for both entities that will benefit both sides mutually.

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke also expressed his excitement to work with Coinbase, one of the top industries in the crypto space.
