On March 9, the Gate Group revealed plans to introduce a new debit card in the European markets to expedite crypto transactions. The Gate Group tasked its affiliate, Gate Global UAB, operating in Lithuania, to develop the proposed debit cards.
The Gate group urges users from the European Economic zone to proceed with the registration process.
Gate Group Integrates Visa Payment
The changes in the crypto space necessitated the Gate group to launch its crypto debit card to allow users to settle their payment with any Visa service operator in Europe. The commendable efforts made by the Gate Group will allow users to engage in offline and online crypto transactions.
The team plans to integrate the Visa feature on the Gate online application platform to uphold the security and privacy of the system. Gate Group chief executive Dr Lin Han announced that the Gate debit card would provide the crypto community with innovative solutions to curb the digital gaps. Han stated that the Gate user would be allowed to pay for services and products offered by global brands. He stated that the new payment method aims to improve European financial inclusivity.
In response to Han’s statement, the director of the crypto unit at Visa, Cuy Sheffield, argued that the debit card would allow the user to settle bills using cryptocurrency. Sheffield believes that Visa pay will create a seamless transaction to boost the user experience.
Surprisingly, Gate replicates the attempts made by Crypto.com in providing the user with multiple payment platforms. A few days ago, the best-performing crypto exchange Bybit launched a Mastercard debit card to fast-track digital transactions.
