New Partnership: Tron dApps Will Now Feature in the Samsung Galaxy Store

The partnership between the crypto project Tron and tech giant Samsung will expand further after new the announcement. Per the announcement, the DApps built on Tron’s blockchain will be available to users in Samsung Galaxy Store.

Last year, both companies joined hands to integrate Samsung’s Blockchain Keystore with Tron. According to the partnership’s terms at that time, Samsung dedicated section for storing keys would store private keys and would be compatible with Tron tokens. “We are totally in line with and will support Samsung’s vision and strategy on blockchain technology exploration,” Tron CEO said at that time.

Dedicated Section for Tron’s dApps

Samsung Galaxy Store is an alternative to Google Play used for installing applications. Samsung’s store will list “applications like Blockchain Cuties, Super Player, Meerkat Mining and Timeloop.”

However, access to these Tron-based dApps is limited to some countries, including the United States, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Canada, and the Philippines. Besides these countries, Samsung’s owners from some European countries will also get access to these Tron dApps.

Justin Sun, the founder and CEO of Tron, said:

The number of dApps deployed on the Tron’s blockchain has witnessed a significant increase in 2019. And Tron crossed the EOS network in having more decentralized applications on its blockchain. However, according to the DappRadar, gambling dApps are the most common on the Tron network as compared to other blockchains such as Ethereum and EOS.

Recently, Tron has also partnered with the Knight Story, the prominent blockchain-based game. Tron’s new partnership with the tech giant will catalyze the process of the creation of Tron-based dApps.
