Tezos Foundation partners with Google to expedite the development of Web3 projects. The tech companies Tezos and Google formulated the partnership agreement on February 22, outlining the conditions and benefits of their collaboration. 

During the partnership negotiation dialogues held on February 22, Google Cloud was tasked to become a validator of the Tezos blockchain.

Google Partners with Tezos Foundation

On February 22, Tezos and Google struck a partnership deal aiming to bridge their Web3 expertise gap and improve the tech firms’ profitability. The partnership agreement mandated that Google Cloud invest in developing Web3 applications and integrating its digital infrastructures on the Tezos platform.

The report revealed that integrating Google Cloud technologies into Tezos’ blockchain will inspire institutional and retail investors to uphold the recent developments in blockchain technologies.

Besides improving Tezos’ blockchain technology, the partnership aims at benefiting Tezos’ community. Google agreed to support the Tezos foundation through mentorship programs and financial assistance. The Swiss-based philanthropic foundation was established to provide grants and technical support to Tezos incubated startups.

Scope of the Partnership Agreement  

A subsequent report from the director of Web3 at Google Cloud, James Tromans, revealed that the company has prioritized the development of its Web3 projects. Tromans confessed that Google had deployed sufficient human and financial resources to improve the scalability and dependability of its Cloud platform. 

The dedicated team behind Google Cloud aims to develop a secure and convenient platform for Web3 creators.

Surprisingly, Google Cloud leads in providing technical solutions to tech firms exploring the blockchain ecosystem. In 2022, Google Cloud worked closely with Sky Maxis to improve the Ronin network by launching a validator system for its gaming platform. Also, Google Cloud engaged Ethereum developers in October 2022 to develop a unique blockchain node.
